Reflections of a Geelong photographer

As a Geelong family photographer, I meet so many mothers who quietly feel time slipping away.

Time has been sitting heavy with me lately. My husband and I were talking about how parting is always bittersweet. His parents have just left Australia after two months with us, and the house feels quieter already. Full tables, visitors, noise… and then suddenly, life moves on again.

Next week my last baby turns 9. That hurts to even write because I am not ready for 9. I do not think I have ever reached an age milestone without tears. Happy ones, sad ones, the kind you cannot really explain.

Isaiah, my oldest son, starting high school still does not feel real. I always wanted four babies, but after Mahaliah I was too scared. I was not ready for the baby days to end, even though I remember wishing, in those exhausting years, that they could just do one thing for themselves.

Time passes like that. Quietly. One day rolling into the next, right in front of our eyes.

If you are feeling time move faster than you are ready for, this space is for you. Where real moments are noticed, felt, and gently preserved and captured.

Before time slips away in the busy moments and the quiet ones too, if you are ready to pause time, let’s start planning your session and save these memories today.
